LNG is also non-toxic so it won’t contaminate soil or water in the event of a spill.

Natural gas has a higher ignition temperature than diesel and dissipates quickly because it is lighter than air.

Cylinders are rigorously tested before use and are inspected on a regular basis.

Odorant is added as an extra precaution to help detect leaks should they occur.
