What is LNG used for?

A+ A- Print This Page

LNG is used to run power generators where there is no electricity supply, in places such as mining sites.

It can also be used in areas where there is no network of piped natural gas. The LNG can be converted back to a gas once it has been transported to its destination and used in the same way that piped natural gas would be.

LNG also fuels machinery used in industrial food processing.
