Government grants for GEA 2021 Forum attendees, exhibitors and sponsors
The Federal Government’s newly established Business Events Grants program will provide grants to attendees, exhibitors and sponsors at pre-approved events held up to 31 December 2021.
GEA 2021 National Forum has been confirmed as an approved business event for the program.
As a result, companies exhibiting, sponsoring or sending delegates to the GEA 2021 National Forum will be able to receive a grant of up to 50% of eligible costs associated with attending the event provided you book and apply before 30 June 2021.
Grant applications close at 5pm (AEDST) on 30 June 2021 or earlier if funding is exhausted. So if your company is planning to send people to the Forum, it should make all required bookings and submit its application soon otherwise it might miss out on the grants.
The Australian Government has announced a total of $50 million in 2020-21 for the program.
The grant amount will be up to 50 per cent of eligible expenditure (grant percentage).
- The minimum grant amount is $5,000.
